Our Team

Jane Stark D.O.M.P, MS
Jane Stark is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner with more than 14 years of osteopathic experience and 22 years as a Certified Athletic Therapist. Jane is equally skilled at treating complicated chronic conditions and acute sports or activity related injuries. Jane’s approach is unique: she not only treats the obvious presenting conditions, but she has an intuitive sense of what the body needs, helping her find and treat the root cause of the presenting issue. As a result, many of her clients report that she can help people who have tried everything else and simply are not getting the results they want and need.
Jane graduated from the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto where she is now an instructor and the Director of Research. Jane is also a faculty member of the Collège D’Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal with campuses in Halifax and Vancouver. Outside of teaching, Jane is known as an authoritative osteopathic historian, having several publications on the subject, the most recognized being Still’s Fascia. In addition to history, she lectures internationally on the subject of connective tissue as it relates to osteopathic treatment.
Jane was formerly on the board of directors of the World Osteopathic Health Organization (2009-2011), and has  completed a Masters Degree in Clinic Research Administration. Jane freelances in 10 different countries, including Japan, the U.S. and throughout Europe. This year, she will be featured at conferences or courses in Munster Germany in May, Hanover Germany in October, and in Berlin and London in November.
In her capacity as an athletic therapist, Jane spent a decade at the University of Toronto’s David L. MacIntosh Sport Medicine Clinic. In addition, she has worked at a number of major athletic games, including the Commonwealth Games of 1998, the ParaOlympics in 1996, and the Canada Games in 1991. She was also the Head Athletic Therapist for our National Men’s Rugby Team from 1992-1995.  Jane is a member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO).

Catherine Cartwright BA(HonBE), DipSIM, D.O.M.P.
Osteopathy is a natural, hands-on, holistic approach to healthcare.  Osteopathy supports the body’s natural ability to restore and maintain your health.  Osteopathy is based on an extensive knowledge and understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, bio-mechanics, physical assessment, and treatment.  Osteopathy considers the body, mind and spirit.  This is the basis of our personalized, whole body approach to your health.
Catherine’s approach is at the sensorial end of osteopathy.  Her interest lies in the more sublte techniques that focus on the cranium (head), fluids and viscera (organs).
Catherine has worked in healthcare for more than 25 years with a background in physical education and Athletic Therapy.  Shortly after beginning her therapy career, Catherine sensed that her passion to treat individuals one on one lead her to study Osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto.  She completed her 5 year course and then a thesis to earn her Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice designation in 2001.  Catherine is a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO).
